Hello readers!
For some of you guys, you might have the dreaded summer homework that your teachers give you to complete before the next school year starts. -_-
My school doesn't do that, but I take Kumon, and it's basically the same thing. Once a week, every week, I have to come in and pick up 6 math booklets for me to do everyday during summer. Oh, but not just any math booklets, I am in a pretty high math level for my grade, so it's even more challenging for me! Don't worry, we're all in this together. People with summer homework, I feel you.
But here are some ways to make it more... decent. Or fun, but let's face it, it's homework during the summer.
I suggest doing a little work everyday so that you're not cramming it all at once at the last minute. I'll be honest, it's always been hard for me to do a "little" work everyday. It's been me procrastinating at the last minute, most of the time... Anyway, if you want, you can also do all your work at the beginning of summer so that you don't have to do it for the rest of your break. If you do that, and you successfully finish it, I will call you Superman, because I've never been able to do that and it's so hard to do!
Try doing between the hours of 10 am and 3 pm because that's when your brain is most awake... There's not much else to say to this, so let's move on to the next point, shall we?
Find a working area that has a lot of sunlight. I've heard that when it's brighter in a room, it makes you more motivated. So yeah, try it and tell me how it goes in the comments! Plus, with the light, you'll still be able to enjoy the summertime sun!
Don't rush it. It may be hard, but it's better to take your time and do a good job than to hastily do your work. You'll feel better once you're finished when you do your work properly and carefully. You have 60 days for summer, and like, 12 hours per day, you can use 2 hours of your day to finish your homework. That's more than enough time!
Good luck with your homework, and don't forget that you're not the only one that's dreading it!
Keep Smiling,
M-L
