Hey guys!
Today will be another review, but on this unique drink called Milkis!
So what is Milkis? Milkis is a Korean "fizzy" drink that is milk and yogurt flavoured. You might be thinking "milk and yogurt?!". I had that first thought when I first found out about this. I first found out about this, which was last year, from my Hapkido teacher. Ever since then, I kept on thinking about out trying this drink, but I was too chicken!
So recently, my sisters and I did this, "foreign food" challenge. I automatically thought of Milkis! So we bought a bottle, and we tried it. I smelled it first, and honestly it's stinky for me. I still drank it, and it tasted really good! I really like it! The picture above is the second bottle, because after finishing the first one, I really wanted to drink some more!
It's hard to describe the taste of Milkis, but for me, it tastes like the Asian yogurt drinks, but carbonated. If you have never drank Asian yogurt drinks, it's basically like, a sweet milk drink. It tastes really good. But Milkis, that is two THUMBS UP!
If you feel like trying out something a little different, try Milkis!

A Little Change on the Blog
Hello everyone,
So far, I have been writing and putting up posts every Sunday. But now instead of putting up a post every Sunday, I decided to not have such a structured schedule, and to start putting up posts when I want. I don't really like having such a structured "schedule" because sometimes I can't find the time to put up a post, and I have to wait another week to publish it, and in all it's kind of a complicated thing to me. So, there will be a post maybe once or maybe twice a week, but it's not going to be every Sunday. Just so you know!
Soooooo until next time folks!
Keep Smiling,
M-L

Summer Attractions
Hey y'all!
Recently I got the chance to go to one of the world's popular festivals with my closest friends!
I wanted to share a little bit of my experience with you, as well as share with you a few tips for whenever you plan to go out with your friends, like at a festival.
My friends and I didn't have such a structured plan, we were just going to go walk around and try food and play games and watch different attractions. There were also rides at the festival too. We arrived at about 1:30-2:00, and we took the train home at around 6:30! The day was so fun! There's so many things to see and do at a festival! I didn't know what kind of bag to bring. I thought bringing a backpack would've been to big, and a little pouch would've been too small. I was given a small cross body bag to bring, and it fit everything I needed without it being too big and small! The weather was peeerfect too! It was supposed to rain on the day we went, but it didn't! It was sunny but had a nice cool breeze, and the park wasn't too crowded, so it was a really nice day! I wish I had a photo for you all, but I don't =(.
So here are my tips for you!
Make sure you bring a fair amount of money, BUT make sure you don't spend it all... on games and food*cough cough*. One thing I wish I could take back from my super fun day was the money I spent! If you don't want to regret spending so much money, try hiding a portion of the money you bought, so that you can control how much you spend. Because, though you may have fun with all the food and rides and games, it won't be so fun in a few days when you're broke! So in all, be wise with your money ;).
Depending on the weather, bring an umbrella and water, sunglasses, and probably sunscreen if you have to reapply (but you won't have time to reapply, because you're too busy having fun!). The day I went to the festival with my friends, I heard it was going to rain, so I brought an umbrella. One thing I didn't think of bringing with me was water. My friends brought a water bottle, and I totally face palmed -_-. Because you don't want to end up being thirsty and pay for water! I wore my sunglasses basically the whole time, because I was outside all day. And I wore a cowboy hat, so I didn't have to worry too much about my face burning! OH! And wear comfortable shoes! You'll be walking around all day, and you don't want blisters at the end of the day, or to be stepped on while walking around the park, because the park usually gets crowded.
Try new things! At the festival I went to, they sell pickle juice, deep dried Oreos, deep fried pickles, deep fried a lot of things, so it's cool to try something new! I didn't try any of the... "exotic"/cool foods there, and I regret it now! The only cool new food I tried was this treat called "Crazy Cone", and it's basically ice cream (but it's not ice cream...) in this J-shaped edible cone, and it's really good. And I ate cotton candy, slushies, and shared mini donuts with my friends. That's it. So when you go to an annual festival, try new food, games, rides, because it's worth it!
Savour every moment!! Don't always go on your phone to take pictures every minute, or film something, because then you won't really be living in the moment. You'll only be watching the moments from a phone, and you might not have the same emotions as when you actually experienced in person. Also, you won't really be with your friends if you're always seeing what's in front of you through a screen. One of the reasons why I really enjoyed my day with some of my closest friends is because they barely took out their phones (except when we ate food and they took food pics lol).
So here are a few tips for the next time you go to a festival! I hope you go to at least one attraction/carnival/festival/celebration in your town, because it's really worth going to!

M-L

M-L's Book Review on To All the Boys I've Loved Before
Hey everyone,
Today I wanted to write a book review on this book I read called To All the Boys I've Loved Before. It's a long title, isn't it? I figured that during the summer, some of y'all have summer reading lists, books to read before school starts. I wanted to share this book, because I feel like this could be a really nice summer read!
So in a nutshell, this book is about a teenage girl named Lara Jean. When Lara Jean likes someone, she'll write him a love letter, releasing all her emotions and feelings on the paper as a way to move on from him. She doesn't send them though. She keeps them, in this hatbox her deceased mother gave to her. Until one day, her letters are sent to all the boys she's loved before. Five in all. But even though there are five guys, the story mainly focuses on two boys; Josh, the nice guy next door, and Peter, the popular and handsome boy in Lara Jean's grade. Uh oh. Sounds crazy, right? Crazy in a good way, I mean. I really liked the whole idea of the story. I don't think I've ever heard of a story like that before! A lot of drama goes down in this book!
I really enjoyed reading this book. It's not a book with that much action in it, and I like that. This book is a contemporary novel. The events in this book sound more... realistic. It's perfect for a summer read!
To All the Boys I've Loved Before will be a lovely summer fling for you all! If you ever feel like reading a chill book, but with lots of emotions wrapped inside, check out TATBILB!
