Hello everyone,
How are y'all's Christmas shopping going? The malls are getting pretty hectic, and I guess that's the holiday season. It's fun though, what with all the decorations, the people deciding whether to buy that one thing for someone, the overall warmer atmosphere. Anyways I'm going off topic. I wanted to buy some gifts for my several of my friends. Then, some people asked me if those my friends were also buying gifts for me.
I don't mind giving them gifts, even if they don't get me anything. But then I thought, what if they do mind? What if they feel burdened of some sort, and they feel bad for not giving me anything? I don't want them to feel bad, but I still want to give them something. So, what do you do?
I guess it would depend on the person, right? And it would depend on the gift you got them. I don't know, to be honest. I already bought some of my friends presents, and now I'm a little lost. I know one of my friends' birthday is in January, so I can save the gift I got her for her birthday, if I feel like giving her a Christmas gift would be a bother. As for the rest, hmm... we'll see. I can easily save those presents for their birthdays...
What do you guys think? Would you buy a present for someone even if they felt bad or like, burdened?
Though this post was pretty short, I hope you enjoyed reading it!
Keep Smiling,
M-L
